Advocacy

Using an Advocate is different from using an interpreter who can only pass on the information given and received. An Advocate can find sources of information and relay them directly to the client, helping them to make informed decisions and choices, enabling the client to assert their rights.

We can offer support in dealing with a wide range of situations:

  • Making complaints
  • Assisting in the completion of forms / applications
  • Represent you in meetings
  • Contact your local authority or service provider on your behalf
  • Assist you in enabling you to take control of your life
